Licensed clinical services provided through the Jane Clinic Platform are governed by separate clinical policies and consent agreements provided to you at the time of intake through Jane. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the clinical agreements provided through Jane, the clinical agreements shall control with respect to clinical services.

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. Any use of the Site that is illegal or violates these Terms is prohibited. Specifically, you agree not to:

  • Use the Site in a manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site or interfere with others' use and enjoyment of the Site
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its services, or any systems connected to it through hacking, password mining, or other illicit means

Clinical materials, session notes, treatment plans, and other documentation generated through the Jane Clinic Platform are governed by the clinical consent agreements provided through Jane and applicable state and federal law, including HIPAA where relevant.

Our digital products and services, including but not limited to downloadable content, online courses, seasonal gatherings, and consulting or integrative support services, are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Due to the nature of digital content and limited-capacity live offerings, all sales are final. We encourage you to review all product descriptions carefully before purchase.

By completing a transaction on the Site, you acknowledge and agree to this zero-refund policy.

Licensed clinical services scheduled through the Jane Clinic Platform are subject to Jane's cancellation and missed-appointment policies, which are provided to you at the time of booking or intake. Any deposits or fees associated with clinical appointments are governed by those policies, not by the zero-refund policy stated above.

The Jane Clinic Platform is a third-party service used to host licensed clinical services, appointment scheduling, and clinical documentation. Your use of Jane is subject to Jane's own terms of service and privacy policy. We encourage you to review those terms when engaging clinical services through that platform.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdictions in which Melissa Jean Paulson, MSW, LICSW, LCSW, is licensed to practice, namely the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of California, and the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought in the appropriate courts of those jurisdictions. Your use of the Site constitutes your agreement to this venue and jurisdiction.

For matters specifically involving licensed clinical services, the governing law and venue shall be determined by the clinical consent agreements provided through the Jane Clinic Platform and applicable state law in the state where the client resides and receives services.
