Health and clinical information when you engage licensed clinical services (holistic psychotherapy, therapy intensives, or embodied somatic therapy intensives) through the Jane Clinic Platform. This may include intake forms, clinical history, session notes, and other protected health information (PHI) necessary to provide care. Collection, storage, and handling of PHI through Jane is governed by the platform's HIPAA-compliant infrastructure and our Notice of Privacy Practices provided through Jane.
Usage and device information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and browsing behavior on the Site, collected through cookies or similar technologies for analytics and site performance.
Mobile information such as phone numbers and consent status when opting into text message campaigns (e.g., 10DLC), where explicit consent is required under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
We generally collect this information when you voluntarily provide it (for example, by subscribing to emails, purchasing a product, or scheduling a clinical appointment), or automatically as you navigate the Site.

When you engage licensed clinical services through the Jane Clinic Platform, your protected health information is handled in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). PHI is stored within Jane's HIPAA-compliant infrastructure and is accessed only by Melissa Jean Paulson, MSW, LICSW, LCSW, for the purpose of providing clinical care.
We do not use or disclose PHI for marketing purposes. PHI is retained in accordance with state and federal record-keeping requirements applicable to licensed clinical social workers in Massachusetts, California, and Arizona.
A separate Notice of Privacy Practices describing your rights under HIPAA is provided to clinical clients through the Jane Clinic Platform at the time of intake.
Compliance with 10DLC and TCPA Regulations
In compliance with 10DLC requirements and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), we:
- Obtain explicit opt-in consent before sending marketing text messages
- Allow you to opt out of text campaigns at any time by replying with "STOP" or contacting us directly
- Do not share mobile numbers with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes
- Retain opt-in data and consent as required by law

With the Jane Clinic Platform, which hosts our licensed clinical services, appointment scheduling, and clinical documentation. Jane acts as a business associate under HIPAA where applicable and is authorized to use your information only as necessary to deliver the platform services on our behalf.
With service providers who assist in delivering services you request (for example, payment processing, email delivery, or course hosting). These providers are only authorized to use your information as necessary to perform services on our behalf.
To comply with legal obligations, such as responding to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes, or to meet regulatory requirements, including mandatory reporting obligations for licensed clinicians under state law.
In connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, where personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
To protect rights and safety, where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected illegal activities, violations of our Terms, or threats to the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share mobile phone numbers or related SMS data with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
